If students do not have a basic background in esoteric study, they may wish to take the School’s Online Course. It is a self-study course in five lessons, which may be downloaded. Each lesson provides basic information on the Ageless Wisdom and on Creative Meditation, including a practice meditation guide and questions for reflection. This may be used as a standalone or in preparation for the following courses, which are interactive with the School staff.

Students with a basic background (or who have taken the Online Course) start with a Preliminary Course of three lessons based on the book A Treatise on White Magic by Alice A. Bailey, which aims to:

1. teach the laws of spiritual psychology as distinguished from mental/emotional psychology.
2. make clear the nature of the Soul and its relationships, including its group relationship as a preliminary step.
3. demonstrate the relations between the Soul and the bodies the Soul may use, and thus clarify the human constitution.

After completing the Preliminary Course, the following is the usual sequence of study:

• Integration and Fusion Course

12 lesson sets on Integration (of the personality) and Fusion (with the Soul), with a mid-point review, that cover the processes involved in achieving an integrated personality, including the recognition and elimination of the many psychological blocks that individuals encounter. Integration is considered in its individual, group, and planetary implications and the means needed to bring about fusion of the personality with the Soul.

• Bridging Course

2 lesson sets that help the student prepare for more advanced work.

• A Course on Heart

10 brief lesson sets that help students balance the Heart and Love-Wisdom aspects with the Will and mental aspects of their nature. The Heart lessons are completed concurrently with the first half of the Antahkarana Course. The first eight lesson sets are derived from the Agni Yoga writings, and the final two are lessons in the spiritual interpretation of symbols.

• The Antahkarana Course

6 extensive lesson sets covering the study and practice of special techniques of bridging in consciousness between the Soul-infused, group-conscious personality and the Spiritual Triad, with its chief characteristic of universality and wider usefulness in service. Students begin to identify with the higher spiritual nature beyond the Soul.

• The Will Course

The Higher Will is introduced in the previous course. The Will Course provides in-depth training in the evocation and uses of this Will. The 18 lesson sets also help students understand the Divine Will and how to contact and use Shamballa energy.

• A Course on Occult Laws (elective)

15 lesson sets that examine cosmic, systemic, and planetary laws and how they may be used in service of the Plan.

• Approach to Group Initiation

Group preparation for initiation through special meditations and study of advanced and symbolic teachings.

Students are also assisted in identifying their ray structure and its implications for service.
